Things can happen - Cancellation policy
Sometimes plans are changing - or life happens. In that case of course cancellations are sometimes needed. No problem, just send us a short email. But please notice some details: For direct bookers cancellations are free of charge until 1 day before arrival date. If you used a foreign page like booking.com, priceline, HRS or other travel agency, their conditions apply. In most cases that means cancellations are free until 7 days before arrival date. Please check your reservation details - or let us help. (So booking direct is always a recommendation - makes it more flexible)
It says there are no rooms available for my requested date. Is that true?
Maybe. If the online booking form says no, could be that we are really fully booked - or there is an issue with the requested room type or number of persons. When in doubt please send us a short email - we will try to help you even if there are really no rooms available.
AC and Elevator
Simply no. Our building is from 14th century. Unfortunately the builders in these days did not plan for air condition and elevators. Try to use the stairs, open your window and breath fresh air - much better for your health also. :-) And sure, will will help you carry up your luggage. Let us know if you need assistance.
When is your restaurant open?
The Kitchen opens at 12:00 to 20:45, restaurant is normally open to 20:45. English menu available (and a few more languages also)
Our Day off is Tuesday - time for our families!
What is your latest check in time?
Arriving in the late evening? Please take care: Our latest check in time is 20.00, no possibility for arrival after that.
Problems on your way to us? Please contact us by phone +49 9861 2281. If you are not able to arrive in time we try to give you other options in town.
How can I find the parking?
Our parking spaces are at the back of the inn.

We charge a little fee of 9 Euros per car, (Bikes, EBikes or Motorbikes are free of charge) Reservations for the parking are not possible. But please be aware. It is an old town - city planners in the 13th century did not plan for cars! Access might be a little bit tricky.
Are we really allowed to drive into the old city center?
Yes - for sure. The small copper stone alley that looks like a pedestrian zone is our main street. Be brave and drive through the city gate to the center of the old part of Rothenburg. But take care! A lot of tourist might think that cars are not part of our daily traffic. It is true, we try to avoid driving through the old part, but it is sometimes necessary.

In case your room isn´t finished yet, of course we storage your luggage. Rooms should be ready by 14.00
Do you offer laundry services?
Travelling through Europe for weeks? Tired of sink washing your clothes? Lots of laundry to do? We offer laundry service for our guests. Rates are ca.9 Euros per load. Service available daily between 07:00 - 12.00
Is breakfast included?
Yes, it is. Breakfast starts at 07.30 to 10.30 - and we are serving a traditional german breakfast with bread and rolls, meat and cheeses, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, egg dishes...and lots of coffee! (Or Tea or whatever...) A great start for the day! And during the sommer months we also service breakfast in our garden...true vacation feeling!
Our dog or cat is travelling with us...
Your pet is also welcome. Hotel dog "Fluffy" is happy to meet new friends! But please...leave your snake at home. There are better options for them...
