For many hundred years, the "Greifen" has been synonymous with a vibrant inn culture, and it is our mission to preserve and pass it on. Not only our many regular guests from Rothenburg themselves, but also guests from many other areas who appreciate Franconian hospitality help us. In the summer months you will find our beer garden right behind the house - off the street and thus far away from the hustle and bustle of the famous Schmiedgasse. With its special location, it is thus one of the soothing exceptions in the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Our cuisine focuses on specialities from Franconia, popular classics - and some old recipes from the grandmother's cookbooks are also included. Local beers, including the "Greifen-Dunkel" can be found on our menu - along with wines from the region.
To get a first impression, here you will find our standard menu - it is supplemented by market-fresh offers according to season on our daily menu. In the course of the year there are also promotional weeks - or we plan a menu with you for a special occasion - just ask!

Groups & Events
